Resourcing Break FAQ
What is a Resourcing Break?
We live in times of great change, which requires us to reckon with the karma each of us carries while looking to the future with a discerning eye about how we want to move forward. At the same time, the world we live in lacks initiatory processes to support us through the “little deaths”, integration, and rebirths that are inherent to the cycles of life. Resourcing Breaks are a way to pause the storm, settle & clear the energy, and focus your awareness for a grounded and integrated path forward. Consider it a “rooting down” to “rise up”.
What do sessions look like?
Sessions begin with exploratory conversation to process and clarify what material is most important to focus on. From there, we agree on what to do with the material. There may be further clearing needed, grounding in one’s soma, tapping into intuition, or gathering resources and inspiration. These sessions are quite organic and adapted to what feels most supportive in the moment.
What are the benefits of a Resourcing Break?
The main objective of the session is to clear, ground and provide the information and nourishment to support you through the moment you are moving through.
How are Resourcing Break sessions different than ALH?
While both forms of session work are intended to be mentally, emotionally and spiritually supportive - Resourcing Breaks focus solely on the individual’s needs and intention coming into the session. If the individual has done ancestor work, it is possible that the already healed ancestors are present to support the process, but it can also come from supportive powers, the land, or the quiet, meditative space that opens in the session. This form of session work is more open ended than ALH, and sessions follow a basic structure that provides space for exploration, creating space for clarity to emerge, and nervous system resourcing.
While both can positively impact the psyche and provide resourcefulness, Ancestral Lineage Healing (ALH) is a methodical approach to specifically healing one’s blood & bone lineage ancestors.
